KINGS PARK, NY — A Kings Park teen was seriously hurt when he was hit by a car as he crossed a street near Kings Park High School. Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, a 37-year-old Kings Park woman in a 2016 Nissan was heading north on Lawrence Road when she hit the 14-year-old boy, police said. The teen was flown to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The driver was not hurt.
