Community Chorus of Detroit is presenting Brahms' "A German Requiem" in English, with full orchestra and soloists. We cordially invite you to attend the Community Chorus of Detroit's magnificent performance of Brahms' A German Requiem, in which the composer addresses the momentous themes of life, love, and loss in this romantic and heartfelt work for choir, soloists, and orchestra. The program opens with a moving short work, sung by the chamber ensemble of our CCD Young Artists' Program for Cass Tech music students. featuring: Katrina Van Maanen & Jonathan Lasch, soloists Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Performances are located in the Sanctuary of Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church in the historic Indian Village neighborhood. Secure parking is provided. HEALTH SAFTEY POLICY: Audience members are required to wear masks at all times when in the church. Vaccination for Covid-19 is strongly recommended but not required.
