SUDBURY, MA — The Sudbury Town Clerk is out with unofficial results from the Nov. 3 election. In a major nationwide election, about 87 percent of the town's 13,916 registered voters turned out, higher than the 84 percent seen in the 2016 presidential election. According to the results, town residents have approved two local ballot questions dealing with borrowing money to 1) build a new Fairbank Community Center, and 2) purchase a section of abandoned CSX railway to use as a portion of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. Sudbury voters also helped hand incumbent Democratic state Rep. Carmine Gentile a victory against Republican challenger Ingrid Centurion in the 13th Middlesex District race.
