SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury police happened upon a large stash of marijuana, cash and a missing person after a recent incident at an apartment along the Boston Post Road. On Thursday afternoon, officers went to an apartment complex on a report of gunfire. While there, they encountered two suspicious cars. Police said they saw drug paraphernalia and about 2 ounces of marijuana in plain sight in the vehicles. They arrested one of the men, Miguel Teo, 23, of Denver, on drug charges. That's also when they found the missing juvenile. Police believe the men were firing a replica air gun. Police later got a search warrant for an apartment in the complex. Inside, they found about $250,000 worth of marijuana — including 50 pounds of leaf and hundreds of pounds of edibles — plus cash. The investigation is still ongoing, but police may pursue enhanced charges because the apartment was located near a playground. One of the suspects tried to harm himself when he found out about the seriousness of the charges, police said. He was treated for minor injuries.
