Press release from the City of Paducah: April 29, 2022 Paducah Parks & Recreation is celebrating National Dog Park Day by holding a photo contest. To participate, take a photo of your dog enjoying one of Paducah's dog parks. Paducah has two dog park locations: Stuart Nelson Park and Independence Park. Submissions will be accepted May 1 through 8. The public will be able to vote on the entries May 9 through 13 with the top three photos receiving baskets with goodies for their dog. The photography contest winners will be announced May 14 on the Paducah Parks & Recreation Facebook page. To enter the contest, submit a photo either online at https://woobox.com/vmrj36 or by email at [email protected] (include Dog Park Photography Contest in the subject line). Be sure to include the photograph location, your full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to use the photo in future social media and marketing campaigns. National Dog Park Day for 2022 is May 7. PetSafe® launched National Dog Park Day in 2017 as a way to encourage dog owners to spend time outdoors with their pets in safe, off-leash areas.
