SAN ANTONIO, TX — Texas grocer H-E-B issued a voluntary recall this week of products containing the company's two-bite brownies after it learned the product may contain metal fragments. H-E-B announced the recall in a news release posted on its website. The recall affects the following products: H-E-B Bakery Two-Bite BrowniesUPC: 4122010951Size: 12 oz. H-E-B Simply Delicious Cookies with Brownie Bites Party TraysUPC: 4122048898Size: N/A The products were manufactured by an outside supplier and distributed to H-E-B and Joe V's Smart Shop stores in Texas and Mexico, the company said. Products have temporarily been removed from store shelves. Customers who purchased the affected products should not eat them. They may also return the products to the store for a full refund. Customers with any questions or concerns may contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time.
