Press release from the City of Iowa City: April 27, 2022 Scott Boulevard from First Avenue to Tamarack Trail has been closed to traffic through late July. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use the posted detour. The detour includes using First and Rochester avenues. Tamarack Trail and Hickory Trail are open to only local traffic and closed to through traffic. The closure will accommodate construction of a roundabout at the Scott and First intersection.
