STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton residents and visitors have a "lower" risk of contracting the coronavirus compared to other communities, according to data released by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Wednesday.
Previously, Stoughton was considered a moderate risk community, but decreases in positive tests rates and new cases shifted the town's designation in the right direction.
The percentage of positive test results for Stoughton residents over the past 14 days fell to 1.42 percent. The number of new cases was also lower with 14 new confirmed cases over the last two weeks.
