Here are the top three stories today in Grand Rapids: The Free Outdoor Fitness Series is offering Sunset Yoga at Lookout Park this summer. The event is from May 24 through Aug. 30 starting at 7:00 p.m. Grand Rapids Parks is asking anyone with COVID-19 or flu symptoms to not participate in any of the Free Outdoor Fitness Series events. (Experience Grand Rapids)The Vintage and Handmade Marketplace is providing the opportunity to locate hard-to-find items at the Downtown Market this weekend. The event will be hosting 60 different vendors selling clothing, accessories, home goods, and more. The marketplace will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (FOX 17 West Michigan News)Daevionne Smith is suing the City of Grand Rapids, the Grand Rapids Police Department, and Officer Gregory Bauer after a gun was accidentally fired during a pursuit. The suit is for $7.5 million in compensation for mental and physical anguish resulting in a loss of enjoyment with post-traumatic stress. The incident occurred on Dec. 9, 2021, when the department wrongly suspected Smith of owning a vehicle involved in other crimes.
