STOUGHTON, MA — There were 662 motor vehicle crashes in Stoughton last year, the lowest total since 2013, according to data from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. And the number of car crashes in Stoughton has declined every year since 2016, when Stoughton had 767 crashes. Of the 662 crashes in Stoughton in 2019, 144 were classified as "older-driver related" and 101 were classified as "young-driver related." There were 12 crashes involving motorcycles, 11 involving pedestrians and one involving a bicycle.
