***PLEASE READ*** His name is Kenai (pronounced Ken-I). He is a beautiful neutered black lab mixed with Golden Retriever we think. We found him wandering the streets. Sadly, someone had dumped him off near our house at the edge of town. We searched for an owner for months without any luck. We took him in and had him neutered and started working with him. When we finally earned his trust a few months back to save him he was very scared of humans and very head shy. He is a constant jumper which seems to be a nervous habit. He is potty trained, and kennel trained. However, this is where it gets difficult. He does not get along with other dogs and he is still bit fearful of humans, so he needs someone who just wants one dog and has time to give this guy what he needs. I do not want to see him put down. I have other dogs and it has put my house upside down just trying to do the right thing by giving him whatever chance I can. It might only take one visit, but it may take more than to get him used to someone else as long as he sees the kindness and that whoever comes will not hurt him, he will be the best dog ever.
