Press release from the Stoughton Public Schools: October 6, 2020 There will be a virtual Bilingual Parent Night on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. The Stoughton Public Schools English Language Education Department will host several Google Meets in many home languages to deliver training on topics including: checking emails regularly, how to get on Google classroom, how to access an assignment, how to upload an assignment, how to turn things in, looking at due dates, how to check assignments and grades in parent portal, signing in - taking attendance -accountability, logging onto Google Meets - showing parents how to find a link, codes with Kahoot -Peardeck, Remind, technology issues - how to submit a ticket. We think having these trainings in families' home languages will be impactful. Parents can join a session where information is being delivered in their home language. Each session will be lead or co-lead by a member of our ELE team.
