I have been following some post rehoming labradoodles and or goldendoodles. Many of them state PUREBRED OR REGISTERED. THIS IS FALSE INFORMATION. Neither breed is a registered animal. The parents of a F1 can be or one parent of the F1B can be AKC registered but the offspring or not registerable with the AKC. EXAMPLE F1 is AKC LAB OR GOLDEN AND AKC POODLE F1B LABRADOODLE OR GOLDENDOODLE AND AKC POODLE THE CKC Canadian kennel Club is not a registry that has any desire to maintain any standard of any breed. You could register a turtledoodle with them. So don't be tricked into believing you are getting a AKC DOG IF IT IS A GOLDEN OR LABRADOODLE.. With that said they are great dogs and a great mix for the non- shedding and those allergic to dogs but wish to have a pet. But also beware that F1's may still shed some.
