Male: Mixed Breed (large); 3 years, 6 months Gumdrop is a gorgeous athlete who enjoys outdoor adventures, socializing around town and then chilling on the couch to binge watch TV and snuggle. This sweet boy appreciates every bit of food, hugs and attention he receives. A Kong filled with peanut butter is one of his greatest delights and will keep him occupied for a ridiculous amount of time. Now in foster care, he is learning to play with toys and chew on bones. A smart boy, he already understands "sit" and "settle" and is quickly picking up on other commands. He hasn't met up his fosters' dogs yet, but can hear them and wants to play with them. He enjoys his long walks around the park, and he is calm toward other dogs, children or adults. He seems interested, but indifferent to small animals like squirrels. Gumdrop does well at home alone. He stays behind a gate in his room and respects the gate as his boundary. Mini blinds are left open so he can see outside. When he barks, his beautiful baritone alerts anyone that there is a big, cool, Superfly dude nearby. He is also house-trained. This strong boy hopes to move in with active people who enjoy long walks or running and hiking. With continued socialization and training, Gumdrop will be the dog everyone dreams of having.
