Does anyone else have a problem with just telling graduates they don't have to pay back the loans they took out for their education? These are people who will be earning triple digit income before the ink on their diploma dries. Over their lifetime, they will be making millions more than us regular guys. No body twisted their arms forcing them to take out loans. Who is going to pay off the loans? "The Government", which is you and me working stiff making minimum. Did you buy a house? Have a mortgage? Wouldn't it be nice if you could just have someone else pay off the mortgage? Everyone who took out a student loan knew going in they needed to pay it back. You're the one who took the loan. Why should I be the one to pay for it????
