Description

I'm 23. I graduated college last year and moved up to the city. I work full time as consultant, but my love for drumming is as strong as ever. I've been playing on and off since I was 12 and I want this hobby to be a bigger part of my weekends. I'm not at a point in life now where I could drop everything and drum full-time, and I don't know if I'll ever reach that stage. Has anyone on this forum gone through this as a young adult? If so, what advice would you give me about how to move forward purposefully? Are there bands that would realistically use a 20-something year old who can only meet for practice once a week and play on weekends? Am I best off just making YouTube covers and hoping that a few people enjoy them? I appreciate any and all feedback. Hope to hear from anyone with wisdom to impart.
