Description
Hiii, this is my foster dog, Apollo and he needs a forever, ever home! Due to his breed, you should probably be a homeowner.
I would say his ideal home has a yard, other dogs and children, lots of action! He is a pretty lazy guy, but does love walks and car rides though will get car sick if it’s more than a short trip. He’s pretty good on the leash as far as pulling, but is very strong so if he wants to check something out he will. He’s housebroken, not destructive and a world class cuddler. He has some separation anxiety and really needs a person who won’t have to leave him for extended periods of time, like a full work day. And, someone who will never get rid of him ever again. He’s not destructive about it at all, he just gets incredibly sad. He’s 3 1/2 years old. He’s super chill! Doesn’t beg for attention. Would probably enjoy wrestling with his person if you’re strong enough. Super sweet with my cattle dog, but not sure about cats. Knows sit and the command is helping curb his jumping which is not too bad. Honestly, he doesn’t jump on me, but does it to house guests. I’m working from home right now and he pretty much snoozes until my work day is over. He's not food aggressive. He doesn't really respect other dog's bubbles which leads to tension from the other dog, but haven't seen actual aggression from him. He does have some dominant behaviors though. Due to him being un neutered until yesterday, he has not been around many other dogs than mine since I’ve had him. He seriously loves people and kids, maybe not the best guard dog because of that…
He had his first round of shots 04/23/22 and was neutered and microchipped 04/29/22. His booster shots are due May 14th. There is a rehoming fee for a portion of those costs. Please email me and let me know why you’re a good fit for this very special dude.
