Ready for Rescue is needs foster homes for several animals including: Hazel Cannoli, an incredibly sweet 8-year-old 50 lb Red Nose Staffy mix is currently at the NYC shelter. He is beloved by the entire staff and I have been trying to find a foster for him for a month. He is reportedly good with dogs and loves all people. He's got ataxia (a wobbly walk) but he gets around pretty well. Kennan is an amazing 3-year-old Blonde Lab mix who lost his foster home and now is in a colleague's facility in Westchester. He's a phenomenal dog. Great with kids, dogs and people. Would love to get him back into a foster or even forever home. Oreo is a sweet Tuxie cat who is losing her foster due to travel. She is a little shy at first but then warms up nicely. And she is quite cuddly with the people she knows. She can be a little nippy when overstimulated with vigorous play but she lets you know when it's getting too much. She has a lot of personality and prefers to be the only kitty. Ralphie is a 5-year-old Tabby who is been at the Mt Vernon shelter for months. He is getting depressed. He is very sweet but somewhat shy so he will need a little patience to let him settle and comfort him. He will need to be on special urinary diet as he had kidney stones but they have been well manages on the food. Ready for Rescue covers all medical care for fosters.
