Good day! I am in need of some community support. Thought I would post on here and just see what happens- I am a single mother of a 7 (soon to be 8) young man. Unfortunately, I was recently a victim of physical abuse that has resulted in multiple surgeries, loss of my job (yes I have applied for unemployment that takes 12 weeks to process, yes I have applied for food stamps and housing assistance, and awaiting to hear back). I need immediate assistance with my house payment and bills, etc and I don’t know who to turn to as I slowly recover. I have food and food stamps should be coming soon. I want To be able to get my son some gifts for this 8th birthday and host a party if possible.
