Hey I’m 30 female I’m up bored and looking for someone fun to hang out with and get to know.
We're some folks in our 50s and 60's suddenly looking for a bass player. We're looking for someone that knows how to play the bass reasonably well and likes to have a little fun in the process. We focus on age-appropriate country (old and new), rock, and whatever else fits the band. We have a low-pressure paying gig in April and are looking for someone who can fill that gap --and maybe hang out. We typically gig once a month or so; practice on Saturday mornings. Can send setlist if interested.I'm a bassist looking for a band. Covers or originals. My preference for genre leans toward the rock/alt scene, but open to others as well. Please no country, punk or death/thrash metal.I'm in my early 40's, I have (good) gear, transportation. willing to help out on rehearsal space if needed.
I also have an 8-5 M-F job, and a wife and kid. I live out on the west side of portland. Would prefer to be west of downtown, but not a dealbreaker for the right group.
I'm hoping to find a group 'around' my age to play with. I'm not opposed to starting something new, but the last couple of times I tried that it fizzled out before it even got to a jam session.Seeking experienced bass player to join jam/funk/soul project in Seaside, OR. We're currently rehearsing for upcoming gigs on the North Coast in the spring/summer 2022 and hoping to find the right person to complete our band. Setlist includes originals and covers with influences ranging from Grateful Dead, Gov't Mule, G. Love and Jack Johnson to Black Keys, Allen Stone, Greyboy Allstars, Galactic and Soulive. We're between 35-49 years old, all solid musicians and looking for a pocket bass player who can rehearse 1-2 times per week in Seaside. No plans to tour the world, just want to have some fun and share our tunes with the local North Coast community. Text me
