Jazz & Blues Swing Band Looking for bass player interested in our music genre/style that includes the following Artists and Songs: Jimmy Witherspoon w/ Robben Ford “Doodlin’, Big Joe Turner “Flip, Flop, & Fly, Lyle Lovett “She's No Lady”, The Amazing Rhythm Aces “Third Rate Romance”, Herbie Hancock “Watermelon Man” Joey DeFrancesco “Sister Sadie”. Some funk tunes like “The Chicken” and “Chitlins” also some Bossa Nova like “Blue Bossa”. Our group has reached a level where we are playing off each other and improvising. This isn't a money making venture but we would like to play out once or twice a month. Band Line Up: Hammond Organ (vocals), Guitar, Drums, and you playing bass. We have over 20 songs rehearsed well, unfortunately our current bass player is moving. We’re rehearsing in San Pedro (no cost studio) once a week, late after noon / early evening.
