Rehoming outdoor cat

I have a male neutered cat. I adopted him as kitten. He is about 3 years old. He is constantly wanting to be outdoors. I live in the city and am not comfortable with letting him roam the neighborhood. I would rather he be in the country when there is less danger for him.This has been a hard decision for me but I want what’s best for him.
