Small factoids about slavery

Back in the days of slavery, there were actually "Free Blacks". Black folks who were NOT slaves, they were normal citizens. Some of these 'Free Blacks' actually owned Black slaves. -- As a matter of fact, America's first slave owner was a Black man. So, this tells us that slavery was not so much a racial thing, it was a 'money' thing. Slave owners enjoyed lower production costs at their farms using slave labor, much like China does right now. It was all about the money, not racism!!! -- Slavery wasn't about skin color, it was about convenience, availability and making a profit. The only reason slaves were Black, is because that's all that was coming over here from Africa, being sold by the African slave traders. Black Africans selling other Blacks, to the world market. Factoid: After the Civil War and the Blacks were freed, the Democrats formed the KKK, to terrorize and kill Black and White Republicans. Over 3,000 Blacks and Conservative Whites were killed and hanged by the KKK. The NRA was formed, to counteract the KKK and provide arms for Blacks and white Republicans, to defend themselves against the KKK. (I believe the KKK was American's first domestic terrorist group, created and supported by the Democrat party) Factoid: America's first Black U.S. Senator was a Republican, elected in 1870. It wasn't until 123 years later that Democrats finally elected their first Black senator, in 1993. ( That 123 year lag time tells you all you need to know about Democrats and their hatred for Blacks ) I hope this has cleared up some confusion or misconceptions about Blacks and slavery.
