Female Lead Vocalist needed for working Rock,Country Rock & Pop ban

Description
Hey all...we've got a good opportunity for an experienced Lead Female Vocalist for a working Rock, Country Rock & Pop band. (We even do a little bit of funk just for fun!) Our lead singer is changing jobs and will be too busy nights and weekends by the end of summer. She’ll certainly be missed, but it’s a great opportunity for the right person – we’ve got solid gigs on the books, and once we secure a new vocalist, will continue booking into September and beyond. We play 2-4 times per month on average, with the intent of playing at least as many private events and outdoor festivals as public bars. Our main goal is to have fun with a great group of people, but depending on the venue, pay has usually been $100 - $350 per person/night. Check out our current schedule here: https://www.thetopshelf.band/copy-of-our-music-1 This group prides itself on being ‘vocalist led’, so we’re looking for somebody with the musical skills to confidently sing our variety of music and who knows how to entertain a crowd. We feature two strong female leads who can play off of each other to have fun with the crowd and provide great harmonies. Ideally, you’d also be able to play keyboard or rhythm guitar if needed, but it’s not a hard requirement. We respect the skills of jobbers, but we’re looking for somebody willing to commit to this as her only, or at least primary group so that our schedule is open enough to accept good gigs and minimize the use of subs. We are agent-backed and can also book gigs directly when available. We rehearse just north of Hastings, MN and most gigs are within reasonable driving distance of the MSP area, unless an occasional a gig is good enough to justify an overnight stay. You can check out the band at www.thetopshelf.band If interested, please send video / audio recordings, along with a short description of why you're interested in the group. When you respond I will provide an email address to use. Serious inquiries only please. Hope to hear from you! -John, Band Leader
