A Largo located manufacturer that makes closet components & panels is hiring for an experienced person to operate the Edge Bander. The responsibilities of this position include operating an Edge bander. Edge bander operators tend machines that veneer wood materials, to increase durability and make them aesthetically pleasing. They also regulate the speed of the belt, set temperature control to regulate heat, brush glue on edges of panels and start and regulate the machine. Our ideal candidate has the ability to work hands on and stand for long periods of time. Someone who is willing to learn and pick up on new tasks is necessary. Candidate must be able to commit to the schedule and have reliable transportation. Please send me your resume or phone number. Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm - no weekends Once you are able to operate machine solo, you'll have an earlier shift if desired! Qualifications: -Previous experience operating the edge bander -Have to be eager to learn and be a team player -Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time -Reliable transportation Starting pay: $16.00- $17.00 per hour based on experience!! With performance based increases after the probationary period, as well as PTO and Paid Holidays
