Dominic Lavoie FLUX Album Release with special guests Junesevere ALL AGES Dominic Lavoie FLUX Album Release with special guests Junesevere Dominic Lavoie is a songwriter, musician, and producer from Portland Maine Leading a wall of sound influenced by the past with a lyrical mindset to our paranoid present, psychedelic folk-rock artist Dominic Lavoie has created an aural and visual world from his home base in Portland, Maine - a makeshift studio dubbed “Shabbey Load”. Following 2018’s music film and EP, ‘Mariposa', Lavoie and his band worked with producer Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) to guide the full-length, Wave With A Broken Arm. Recorded in 2019 and released in fall of 2020, the eerily prescient content tackles technology, false idols and our new everyday (un)reality. Almost 5 years with the same band, they’ve collectively created an original live sound. A rhythm section that can go from 70’s loose to Radiohead-tight, a keyboardist who creates entire atmospheres, and slick dual guitar melodies all blending to create the perfect backdrop for his songwriting and voice.
