All proceeds will be donated to AYRF.
Join us on Sunday, May 15th for a screening of Flee, a documentary animated film about the true story of Amin's journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan to Denmark.
Flee was the first film to be nominated for three Oscar categories: Documentary Feature, Animated Feature, and International Feature Film.
Lapis is an Afghan Bistro located in D.C.'s Adams Morgan neighborhood. The ticket includes admission to the screening along with a specialty cocktail and a selection of Afghan appetizers.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Afghanistan Youth Relief Foundation, a local organization that advocates for lifesaving assistance, human rights and protection for displaced Afghan refugees in the DMV region and around the United States.
