Join us for an incredible evening of slide guitar, harmonica, rock and roll, food, friends, and more.
David Jacobs-Strain is a fierce slide guitar player, and a song poet from Oregon. He is known for both his virtuosity and spirit of emotional abandon. David displays a range that ties him to his own generation and to guitar-slinger troubadours like Robert Johnson and Jackson Browne. “I try to make art that you can dance to, but I love that darker place, where in my mind, Skip James, Nick Drake, and maybe Elliot Smith blur together.”
David also tours with Bob Beach on Harmonica. Their live show moves from humorous, subversive blues, to delicate balladry, and then swings back to swampy rock and roll.
David has performed many times at blues festivals and taught at camps around the country. He and Bob were scheduled to play a number of festivals this Summer but now David is focusing on live streaming and recording at his home in Eugene, OR.

--> We are thrilled to bring David and Bob to Corvallis after having to cancel their scheduled show in 2020. We are limiting tickets to just 25 (instead of our usual 35) in order to provide a bit more space for everyone.
--> 100% of ticket revenue goes to the performers. With a smaller crowd, the per-ticket price is a bit higher, but please attend and help support performing artists as they return to live performances.
--> The performers ask that all attendees be fully vaccinated. The performance may be inside or outside, depending upon conditions. Please wear a mask if you wish to do so.
--> We will have some food and beverages before the show (6pm; show at 7pm). Please bring a dish and/or drink to share.
