ITS DC 2022 Spring Event on Vulnerable Road User Safety and ITS Technology 2020-2021 saw the largest ever annual increase in U.S. pedestrian fatalities. We need to understand how technology investments help improve public health for all Vulnerable Road Users, especially those in low-income communities. Our goal is to bring together academic experts, state officials and industry leaders to discuss how we can help keep vulnerable road users safe and collaborate to promote sustainable safety solutions that focus on user needs. We’ll hear about innovative technologies and results of projects that have deployed some of these technologies. Below is the speaker agenda
