Glen Schultz was born & raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and he and his family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. While attending Northeast High, he was a distance runner on the track team, served in student government & competed in various oratorical contests. At St. Petersburg Junior College, he joined the debate team, later attending the University of South Florida where he was an honor student in the college of political science. Returning to USF for another degree, he earned a Bachelor's in Secondary Social Science. A truly life changing event took place when he visited the office of a woman who was interviewing applicants for a Triple A dispatcher's position. She stopped the interview, stood up & looked him in the eye while saying: Young man, you have no business being in my office. You belong in broadcasting. Get a job in radio or television. So, he followed her advice & was hired by a start-up talk station that same day. He'll tell you more about that, then share about some key tips to help you in your speaking endeavors. Network for Success is a series of monthly educational seminars presented by the Bluffs Business Association designed to give business owners, entrepreneurs, managers and sales leaders more tools to be successful while meeting other business professionals who face the same challenges that you experience.
