The 2nd Annual NY A.D.O.S Film Festival. {Rochester, NY} The Roy & Rozell Allen Foundation is proud to present: The 2nd Annual NY A.D.O.S. Film Festival. {Juneteenth Weekend} June17th, 18th, 19th & 20th 2022 . This year's theme: "Race Relations America 2022". Festival screening tickets donations are $25.00 each{tax deductible}. Film festival scholarship donation tickets are $10.00 each{tax deductible}. Proceeds from this year's event will go to benefit "The A.D.O.S. College Scholarship & Arts Fund". All Festival screening tickets include complimentary food & beverages, with a Q&A panel discussion following each screening. Thousands of dollars in door prize giveaways. "Grand Prize Nightly " a New Gateway Computer. ALL COVID-19 GUIDELINES WILL MANDATED & FOLLOWED OUR MISSION: The Roy and Rozell Allen Foundation was created to develop through grants, scholarships and internships educational and creative artistic opportunities. The foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It was created and established by their son Kevin L. Allen. The foundation will create these educational and creative artistic opportunities through financial assistance programs { grants, scholarships, internships etc.}. The funds for these various programs will come from donation raising events. This will include this year's 2nd Annual NY A.D.O.S. Film Festival. As with all events that the foundation sponsors. If the goals of the overall project are not met by the timeline set {timelines are etched in stone} all donated funds will be returned minus the US Postage Stamp cost {estimated to be $0.50 - $0.60}. The first objective of The Roy and Rozell Allen Foundation is to create a $1,000,000.00 ADOS College Scholarship & Arts Fund. This college scholarship & arts fund will provide financial assistance and grant opportunities to all that qualify. Although starting with the acronym A.D.O.S meaning American Descendants of Slavery these opportunities are for people all of races, genders and sexual orientations. The Roy and Rozell Allen Foundation wishes to thank everyone for your help, financially, sponsorships, volunteerism, and the so many things you've done for us in the past, present and future. We thank you! Kevin L. Allen How we plan to reach our initial financial goal: The goal to accomplishing the initial $1,000,000.00 fund is to raise approximately $1,200,000.00 {USD}. The realistic timeline for disbursement is July 1, 2025. Until then a three (3) year process of fund development is in place. For every $10.00 {USD} raised for the college scholarship & arts fund, $2.00 {USD} additional must be raised to cover operating cost for the college scholarship & arts fund. Operating cost will not commence to be applied until the minimum fund amount of $100,000.00 {USD} is secured in the foundation bank account. Until the minimum amount {$100,000.00 USD} is reached and operating cost begin to apply. Funds raised through donation events may be applied to future donation events. This business purpose is for creating more financial projects, thus creating more revenue donation opportunities. The objective raise: $1,000,000.00 {USD} The foundation has an established opening operating budget of $10,000.00 {USD} To go: $990,000.00 {USD}
