One of their available pets is Meeko, a male 6-year-old lab mix. Here's a full description of Meeko from the Islip Animal Shelter Facebook page: This little guy is Meeko, he is a 6yr old, 30lb, m/n Lab mix looking for a family who will adopt and keep him safe. Due to unfortunate and sad circumstances his family had to give him up and he doesn't understand what he did to lose his home.
