Description

There are many misconceptions about storing, pouring and enjoying beer. Choose the right beer. You think all beers are the same? It's all brewed in a keg, poured into a red plastic cup, drunk and done? Such thinking is out of date. With so many beers on the market these days, there's always one to suit your taste. However, it may take quite a long time to really elaborate, so here are just a few: [1] Ales: It's an ale. They ferment quickly and are usually sweet, full bodied and fruity. Indian pale ale uses more hops and is usually bitter. Other beers in this category include Pale Ale, Wheat Ale, bitter, Port, Stott, barleyale, Brown Ale and Triple Ale. Be careful with three beers, they go through a lot of fermentation and are very drunk. Lager: Lager. They ferment slowly, taste fresher than Ale, and have a lighter hop aroma. Think Heineken, Budweiser, Natural Light, Harp, Corona, Miller Dry. These are all lagers. Other beers in this category include Pilsner, Viennale, Bock and Marzen. -Blair: Stouts? They are classified as Ale beers, but have a distinct flavor. Stott is a dark, smooth beer with chocolate and coffee flavors. Oat and oyster stott are also available. Guinness, Beamish and Samuel Smith Oatmeal stout are stott beers. -Penny: Bitters. They are English Ales, dark brown and have a strong hop taste (in other words, they have a bitter taste). In general, bitter is stronger than India pale Ale. Bitter tastes are hard to describe in a single sentence and can be classified as session, Best and premium (often called Extra Special Bitters). Wheat beer (or Hefeweizen). This type of ale is light in color and slightly hazy in appearance, usually with a banana or clove flavor. Sometimes it has a spicy or apple flavor. It is not bitter and can be served with a slice of lemon.
