Fiber Art is Popping Up for the month of May! Makers Connect is proud to be able to reach out and support our amazing fiber craft friends at DAFA, aka Dallas Area Fiber Artists; a wonderful organization that has been a hub for so many artists over the years working in all of the fiber arts - from paper to yarn, fabric to sisal, and so much more! We will be displaying the wares of eight talented artisans right in the very front and center of our store - so please come and browse during the month to find amazing things for Mother's Day! Keep an eye on our social for sneak peeks at some of the gorgeous items coming to our store. All proceeds will be returned to the club's own chosen charity, and to the artists as well. Makers Connect is hoping to raise awareness of the impact and importance of crafts and crafters here in our east Dallas community. Please come out during normal business hours, which are Tuesday - Saturday 11-6, and for the big Welcome Party for the members and public, coming up on Saturday May 7 in the afternoon.
