LOHS Friday Night Live chapter is hosting their first bi-county free youth art exhibition with Sutter-Yuba Prevention & Early Intervention. The goal of this gallery is to promote dialogue between artists and the public, reduce mental health stigma and provide young people the opportunity for their voices to be heard. Are you a high school aged youth with in the Sutter-Yuba community and would like to submit your artwork to our exhibition? If yes, please contact Sutter County Prevention and Early Intervention or Live Oak High School. Application Deadline is May 11th, 2022 Art Exhibition Event Date: May 16th-20th 2022 Event Location: Yuba-Sutter Marketplace, 1215 Colusa Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991 Are you a Sutter-Yuba community member interested in attending a free event? The "Through My Lens" Art Exhibition will be May 16th-20th! The art submission prompt: To explore the intersection between mental health disparities, substance use/abuse and homelessness within our community. Youth participants will showcase their perspectives on these issues and share their perspectives for positive change within our community. THREE winning art pieces will be selected to win! The top 3 winners will be selected based on the number of votes their artwork receives by our community members. Community members will be voting for their favorite piece via QR codes at the art exhibition. GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive a new iPad! The 2nd & 3rd place winners will receive new airpods!
