Share your houseplant hobby with the San Francisco plant community, amidst conversations and servings of refreshments. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is an in-person event hosted outdoors at South Park in SoMa. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Seed and Soul Club is excited to return to our old stomping grounds in San Francisco! ---- Keeping Our Event Safe ---- - Masks and hand-sanitizers will be provided. - Please stay home if you are exhibiting, or were recently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. - Refreshments will be available in single-use compostable containers. - The organizers reserve the right to turn away attendees who violate any of our event-safety policies. ----- About the Swap ----- - 12pm - 1pm. - Your spot is secured through a paid Eventbrite ticket. Your Facebook 'attending' label does not guarantee a spot. - Bring potted plants, *prepared* cuttings or plant accessories. - Plants should be labeled before the swap with plant's and your name. - Plants and cuttings must be pest-free, and plant accessories clean and disinfected. - Well-behaved leashed animals are welcome! Although you get a complimentary drink ticket with your registration (and a slice of pie), purchasing another beverage will earn you bid stickers! Keep your receipt, bring it to any organizer, and you’ll get 10 bid stickers to use at the swap! --- About Your Ticket --- Your ticket will cover attendance at the Swap, a spot in the Workshop, a drink ticket good for one beverage of your choice at Golden Goat Coffee, and a slice of delicious pie from Julia's Pies. -----About the Workshop----- - 10.30am - 11.30am Moss Poles: How to Setup Your Plant for Success with Stephanie Chen Stephanie will show you the benefits of a moss pole, important elements of an effective moss pole, as well as demonstrate how to setup a plant on a moss pole for a happy plant to flourish and climb for many years to come. ---- About Leftover Plants ---- All leftover plants will be donated to a local charity (TBD). ----- About Seed and Soul Club ----- The Club is an initiative born from a yearning for connection.
