Interested parties please apply using this link: JOB SUMMARY We are currently recruiting for a full time Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the duties performed by the housekeeping staff in all vacant units as well as training and assisting new staff. This includes educating new hires on the organization's policies and procedures, its methods of cleaning and maintenance, the location of supplies and the layout of the facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Take inventory and order supplies for the department Maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers and perform simple repairs Equipment repair or ordering new equipment when needed Work alongside cleaners to help perform cleaning and maintenance duties. Assist staff if short-handed, she may fulfill the role of the missing team member and help for the day. Cleaning duties including: Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors Clean appliances Clean windows Clean kitchen including appliances, cabinets, countertops Deep clean bathroom, shower, sinks, toilet, medicine cabinet, and other accessories Clean around the unit including light fixtures, doors and handles, fans, vents, windows, washers, dryers, and other appliances as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team Excellent organizational skills Must have a least 1-year supervisory experience and 2+ years’ experience of housekeeper Training the housekeeping staff. Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours (limit of 75 pounds) Advanced knowledge of cleaning products, implements and practices Reliable mode of transportation and valid driver’s license required Good knowledge of San Francisco and Oakland streets PREFERRED SKILLS Bilingual in Spanish DISCLAIMER This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
