Description

The final concert of the MOCM Festival 2022 features a thrilling new work for piano trio by remarkable composer James Lee, III. Commissioned and performed by the Calyx Piano Trio, Tones of Clay receives its midwest premiere on this last concert of the 2022 MOCM Festival. Rounding out the program are passionate works by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Brahms. MOCM invites nationally recognized professional musicians to historic Webster Groves, Missouri and St. Louis venues to perform a series of chamber music concerts as part of an annual festival which takes place each June. Diverse programming, including new and commissioned works, is a defining attribute of the festival, helping to illuminate the exciting, extraordinary, and diverse nuance of the small ensemble genre.
