Description
STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Republican Town Committee announced that it will hold a voter registration drive on April 30.
Titled "Pain at the Pump," the event will be held at the Exxon gas station at 59 W. Broad St. in Stamford on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The RTC said in a news release the drive is being held in response to record-high gas prices.
"Like all Americans, Stamford residents are angry at high gas prices resulting from Democratic policies and they want to make their dissatisfaction known," said event organizer Liz van Caloen in a news release. "This event, held right where people are feeling 'pain at the pump,' will make it easy for them to register to vote or change their party affiliation."
