Design and create an intentional & wearable work of art in the hand-knotting style from traditional wood and semi-precious gemstone beads. Originating as a tool for meditation many centuries ago, the japa mala is altogether symbolic, functional & beautiful. Choose from aromatic sandalwood, rosewood, camphor wood, or rudraksha beads for your mala, or you may wish to incorporate lava stone for its grounding and aromatherapeutic application. Then you will choose from a variety of natural gemstone & crystal beads to incorporate into your mala for additional metaphysical benefits. Learn the symbolic origin and the process of activating & using your mala as a tool for meditation.
