Press release from the Town of North Andover: April 27, 2022 As we ready for Town Meeting, the Town will be presenting information every day on different warrant articles. 2022 Town Meeting Warrant Article 8: Accept donation of land – Academy Road Property In 2015, through Community Preservation Funding the Town purchased a Conservation Restriction on three parcels from Center Realty Trust, including the parcel next to the First Parish Church. It has been a joint goal of Center Realty Trust and members of the CPC to increase access to the parcel, which is currently inaccessible. CRT has offered to gift the parcel to the Town so that the Town could create the access. At Town Meeting, authority would be granted to the Select Board to accept the donation as long as the two parties agreed on terms. This press release was produced by the Town of North Andover.
