MEDFORD, MA — Massachusetts State Police arrested a violent fugitive at Encore Boston Harbor casino on Friday morning, reported NBC 10. Jeremey N. Sanchez, 23, of Lowell, was taken into custody in his hotel room around 6:45 a.m. Friday by the Massachusetts State Police tactical operations team and violent fugitive apprehension section. Police said Sanchez is a suspect in a violent crime in Maine. State troopers from both states said they developed information that led them to the casino's hotel Thursday night. Sanchez is being held in connection with warrant out of Lawrence District Court for firearms offenses that occurred last month, police said. The investigation by Maine police is ongoing and and no further information has been released.
