2 Hospitalized, 17 Displaced After Massive Islip Terrace Blaze

ISLIP TERRACE, NY — Two women were hospitalized and 17 residents were displace following a massive fire at an Islip Terrace multi-family home early Saturday, according to Suffolk police. The blaze broke out at the Carleton Ave. home at about 12:34 a.m. Police say all 17 residents from eight apartments safely evacuated the home. The two women were transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
