How You Can Name Cape May Zoo's Baby Capybaras

CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — The Cape May County Zoo recently welcomed two new baby girl capybaras and they need some names. To name the babies, the zoo is turning to the public and hosting a "Capybara Naming Contest." The contest will have two parts. First, between April 28 and May 6, create an account on their website and make a five dollar donation. On checkout, submit names for twin girls. Zookeepers will pick three sets of names from those submitted. Here's where you can donate. Next, from May 7 to 29, winners will be chosen through votes. You can either vote online with a donation or in person at the zoo entrance. The names with the most donations will be given to the new baby capybaras.
