HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The community has been invited to attend the third annual Jazz in the Woods Festival. The musical celebration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Chrysalis-Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods and features jazz bands and ensembles from 10 Howard County Public School System schools. Tickets are free and the event is open to the public. Performances will be at the following times: 9 a.m. – Harper's Choice MS Jazz Band9:25 a.m. – Wilde Lake MS Jazz Band9:50 a.m. – Marriotts Ridge HS Jazz Ensemble10:20 a.m. – Folly Quarter MS Jazz Band 111:15 a.m. – Folly Quarter MS Jazz Band 211:40 a.m. – Murray Hill MS Jazz Band12:05 p.m. – Glenelg HS Jazz Ensemble12:35 p.m. – Bonnie Branch MS Jazz Band1 p.m. – Mt. Hebron HS Jazz Ensemble 11:30 p.m. – Mt. Hebron HS Jazz Ensemble 22 p.m. – Ellicott Mills MS Jazz Band2:25 p.m. – Wilde Lake HS Jazz Ensemble In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Marriotts Ridge High School, 12100 Woodford Drive, Marriottsville. The performance schedule will remain unchanged.
