LOUIS PARK, MN — The city of St. Louis Park is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration for the new Dakota Edgewood bike/pedestrian bridge on May 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. Organizers hope the celebration brings together residents, community resources, organizations, and elected officials in St. Louis Park. Activities at the event include: State of the community remarks from Mayor Jake Spano Presentation of the "outstanding community member" award Ribbon cutting of the newly completed Dakota Edgewood bike/pedestrian bridge Unveiling of art on the pedestrian bridge Police and firefighter-led bike tours of the bridge and surrounding neighborhood Music from DJ Bob Free MN Nice Cream Meet and greet with city representatives and community organizationsView a photo of the new bridge on the city of St. Louis Park website
