SUMMARY: This campus events focused position performs event related set up and tear down as directed by the Events Reservation Manager. This position is a member of the Facilities department and therefore considered essential personnel and must be able to work during school closures and some weekends/evenings for events. In addition, additional duties may be assigned in providing a safe, functional, and attractive environment for the campus' students, faculty, staff, administrators, and visitors. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all on campus event set-up / break-down duties. This includes but is not limited to moving and rearranging of tables, chairs, flags, signs, flooring protection tarps for the Gymnasium floor, choral risers, music stands, various music equipment like drums and pianos, portable stage, pipe and drape and decorations.Inspect event supplies inventory on a regular basis and maintain them in good order, keep all supplies organized and in their proper location and notify your supervisor immediately of any damage or deficiency of equipment or spaces.Review order details in the Event Management Software, (E.M.S.), to stay informed to any changes in that may occur with the events schedule. Assist with general maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed.Operate light or medium weight trucks and equipment to include tractors as needed.The primary shift for this position is Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm but must have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Minimum Requirements: Experience working with events or other fast paced industry preferredAbility to operate custodial related equipment and use applicable chemicals, supplies, hand, and power tools with guidance.Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Must be able to perform the work described in various types of weather.Must be able to interact with students, faculty, and staff with customer service orientation.Possess a valid driver's license, subject to MVR check.Must have high school diploma or equivalent Apply online: http://immaculata.interviewexc...
