2 Geneva Bridges Scheduled For Inspection At Beginning Of May

GENEVA, IL — Two Geneva bridges are scheduled for inspection the week of May 2, city officials announced. The first inspection, to be completed by the Kane County Division of Transportation, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 3 on Kirk Road over the Union Pacific Railroad. The following day, an inspection will take place on the Fabyan Parkway bridge over the Fox River. Both projects are weather permitting, officials said. During each inspection, traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction to allow inspectors safe access, officials said. A map with inspection details can be found on Geneva's website.
