Hampton, WHEELER HIGH SCHOOLProbable career field: Industrial Design NATIONAL MERIT GENERAL DYNAMICS CORPORATION SCHOLARSHIP Neerav Ravirala, WALTON HIGH SCHOOLProbable career field: Molecular Biology NATIONAL MERIT WALGREEN CO. SCHOLARSHIP Franklin S. Zhao, WALTON HIGH SCHOOLProbable career field: Physics NATIONAL MERIT SIEMENS SCHOLARSHIP Approximately 1,000 distinguished high school seniors have won corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship awards financed by more than 135 corporations, company foundations and other business organizations. Scholars were selected from students who advanced to the finalist level in the National Merit Scholarship competition and met the criteria of their scholarship sponsors. There will be three more rounds of scholarship winners under the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program for a total of 7,500 academic champions and scholarships worth approximately $28 million.
