TUSCALOOSA, AL — R&B recording artist and season three winner of "American Idol" Fantasia will perform at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Aug. 12. Tickets for the show, which will also feature fellow R&B artist Babyface, are set to go on sale May 6 at 10 a.m. After achieving success on the big stage of the reality show, Fantasia Monique Barrino released her debut album "Free Yourself" in 2004 — an album that would eventually go on to become certified Platinum. The 37-year-old has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and also has performed on Broadway in the years since securing her big break.
